The Zambezi
Incident
begins on a
safari in the African bush which ends in a deadly encounter
with smugglers. A professional hunter is in the bush with
his client when their group is attacked by three men. The
reason for the assault becomes apparent when it is
discovered the attackers are al-Qaeda operatives who are
carrying diamonds that are worth millions. The hunter soon
realizes that he has become a target for deadly terrorists.
His adventure takes him from Africa to the financial centers
of Europe and the Caymans. He finally settles to a rural
retreat in America where he is joined by his beautiful lover
from Zimbabwe. Al-Qaeda terrorists murder innocents in their
pursuit of the hunter and themselves become targets of
revenge.
There are no
heroes in the world of the Zambezi Incident. It tells of
corrupt African politicians and police, diamond buyers who
are disinterested in the diamonds’ source, financial
institutions which exist to make money untraceable and
religious fanatics who believe that mass murders are their
path to paradise. The professional hunter’s main motivations
are financial gain and his desire to leave a country which
is becoming an economic disaster. He eliminates al-Qaeda
operatives with less emotion than he displays when killing
dangerous animals.
